Senior Funding Agent

A senior funding agent will work closely with their funding manager at all points of the sales process to ensure the highest probability of the advance or loan funding.

The Opportunity:


The senior funding agent is responsible for all the of the sales process with the
exception of determining which lender to place the merchant with and the final
closing call. A senior funding agent will work closely with their funding
manager at all points of the sales process to ensure the highest probability of
the advance or loan funding.

Main Duties:
1. Initiating contact with potential clients for merchant advance
2. Qualifying/disqualifying potential clients
3. Adding new file information into CRM
4. Remitting application to client
5. All document collection
6. Handing file off to processing and/or underwriting department
7. Keeping merchant updated on the progress of the application and collect any
additional documents requested by lender/underwriting
8. Presenting possible funding scenarios to the merchant and working with the
funding manager to overcome objectives or changes to initial request
9. Work in tandem with senior funding manager to close loan
10. Gather all stipulations needed to fund loan

1. Broad understanding of merchant advances process, products, and selling
points
2. Using email, text, and CRM to increase workflow and contact rates
3. Time management
4. Remaining mindful of goals set by your manager
